X波段6 MeV射频直线加速管的研究与开发

Research and Development of X-band 6 MeV RF Linear Accelerating Tub

  • 摘要: 本文阐述了一支X波段驻波加速管的研发,通过建立束流孔径内的二维电磁场分布,完成了束流动力学计算和射频结构设计,研究了精加工工艺,提升了加速腔的粗糙度和加工精度,建立了微波调谐平台,采用谐振方法和非谐振微扰方法完成了腔体调谐和整管冷测,钎焊排气后在高功率平台上进行了测试。测试结果表明,电子束能量达到6.1 MeV,通过X射线转换靶后1 m处的剂量率为543 cGy/min,满足指标要求。

     

    Abstract: The research and development of an X-band standing wave accelerating tube was described in detail. By establishing the model of two-dimensional electromagnetic field distribution in the beam aperture, the beam dynamics calculation and RF structure design were completed. The finishing process was studied to improve the roughness and machining accuracy of the accelerating cavity. The microwave tuning platform was established. The cavity tuning and whole tube cold test were completed by resonance method and non-resonance perturbation method. The high power test was carried out after brazing and exhausting. The test results show that the electron beam energy reaches 6.1 MeV, and the dose rate at 1 m away after hitting X-ray conversion target is 543 cGy/min, which meets the requirements.
