Abstract:
At present, the unit reserves calculation of sandstone uranium deposits is mainly based on the logging data of four exploration wells, which is of low accuracy. In order to increase the amount of basic data in the calculation process of unit reserves and improve the calculation accuracy of unit reserves of sandstone uranium deposit, a new method for predicting the reserves of sandstone uranium deposit was proposed in this paper. In this method, the natural gamma value was converted into quantitative gamma value by formula after eliminating the influence of well diameter and mud through the calibration of the chart. Combined with the quantitative gamma logging data of conventional vertical wells, the nodal grade and thickness were calculated by bilinear interpolation method, and the unit reserves were calculated on this basis. This method was used to predict the uranium reserve distribution of a certain horizontal leaching well site in Xinjiang. The results show that the influence of low radioactivity strata on the reserves prediction can be eliminated by using the method described. Compared with the conventional four-point element reserve prediction method, the calculated results are revised by 17.64%. The above results show that this method is more precise in describing the distribution of uranium reserves in the unit and has higher accuracy in reserve calculation.
