Review of Radiochemistry Research in China and Strategic Proposals for Future Development

  • 摘要: 放射化学作为核科学技术体系的重要分支,在国家核能发展、核安全保障及多领域高技术应用中发挥着不可替代的作用。本文系统梳理了中国放射化学自20世纪50年代以来的发展历程,重点回顾了其在核燃料循环、环境治理、核医学等方面的重大技术突破与应用成效。重点介绍了中国原子能科学研究院在基础理论研究、工程技术开发、平台体系建设及人才培养等方面的核心地位与历史贡献。面向未来,本文分析了放射化学面临的战略机遇与技术挑战,提出以原始创新能力提升、学科交叉融合、重大工程带动和高层次人才体系建设为主要路径,推动我国放射化学迈向世界前沿。

     

    Abstract: Radiochemistry, as a critical branch of nuclear science and technology, plays an irreplaceable role in energy development, environmental protection, and medical applications. This paper systematically reviews the development of radiochemistry in China since the 1950s, with particular emphasis on the foundational work conducted under the “Two Bombs, One Submarine” initiative (the “Two Bombs” referring to atomic bombs and hydrogen bombs, and the “One Submarine” referring to nuclear-powered submarines) and the subsequent systematization and engineering of radiochemical technologies during the reform and opening-up era. The study highlights the pivotal role of the China Institute of Atomic Energy (CIAE) in fundamental research, technological breakthroughs, infrastructure development, talent training, and international cooperation. Looking ahead, the paper calls for the strengthening of indigenous innovation, the promotion of interdisciplinary integration, and the advancement of high-level research platforms to ensure the high-quality development and globally competitive capabilities of China’s radiochemistry.
