  • Using a Monte Carlo simulation software developed by the authors the neutron gamma ray distributions with energy and time and the neutron gamma ray energy spectra along the borehole axis and wall are calculated for different condition of well, such as openhole,no instrument in borehole, oil saturated sandstone formation and oil injected in borehole. The influences of source detector space on these neutron gamma ray distributions and energy spectra are studied too.
